My family and I (daughter​,​ son​,​ mother​,​ father) are refugees from the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv​,​ where about 2​,​000 houses were destroyed by bombs and rockets. Now we are sheltered by the hospitable Regensburg. We live in a refugee camp. We ask you to help us with the social housing that my family and my son​,​ a disabled child who has type 1 diabetes (severe form) and is insulin-dependent​,​ need so much. He needs insulin injections for treatment. Insulin must be stored in the refrigerator. But​,​ unfortunately​,​ it is very difficult to comply with these conditions in the camp. Also​,​ people with diabetes need to follow a special diet and not eat foods that are high in carbohydrates that adversely affect their health. Rice​,​ pasta​,​ sugar and other foods are prohibited. In order not to disturb the diet​,​ it is necessary to prepare low-calorie meals separately for your son. Unfortunately​,​ I do not have such an opportunity​,​ and this is understandable why​,​ because there are so many refugees and there is no opportunity for everyone to adapt. And very often in the evening the son wants to eat. People with diabetes have a strong feeling of hunger. But the kitchen is open until 18.00. Diet is very important and affects blood sugar control! Also​,​ children cannot go to school and continue their education because they do not have permanent housing in Regensburg. Children dream of school and new friends! We just want to LIVE​,​ WORK​,​ STUDY !!!!! HELP PLEASE! Щиро вітаю Вас і Ваш дуже важливий проект в цей складний для нас українців час! Я і моя родина (донька​,​ син​,​ мати​,​ батько) - біженці з українського міста Харкова​,​ в якому зруйновано бомбами та ракетами близька 2 тисяч житлових будинків. Зараз нас прихистив гостинний Регенсбург. Мешкаємо в таборі для біженців. Ми дуже Вас просимо допомогти нам з соціальним житлом​,​ на яке так потребує моя родина і мій син​,​ інвалід з дитинства​,​ якій хворіє на цукровий діабет 1 типу (важка форма) та є інсулінозалежним. Для лікування йому потрібні ін’єкції інсуліну. Інсулін обов’язково повинен зберігатися у холодильнику. Але​,​ нажаль​,​ у таборі дуже складно дотримуватись цих умов. Також люди з захворюванням на цукровий діабет потрібні дотримуватись особливої дієти і не вживати продуктів​,​ які мають великій вміст вуглеводів​,​ які негативно впливають на стан здоров’я. Забороняється рис​,​ макарони​,​ цукор та інші продукти. Щоб не порушувати дієту треба готувати окремо для сина низькокалорійні страви. Нажаль​,​ я такої змоги не маю​,​ і це зрозуміло чому​,​ бо біженців дуже багато і під кожного нема можливості підлаштуватися. А ще дуже часто ввечері син хоче їсти. Люди на цукровий діабет мають сильне відчуття голоду. Але кухня працює до 18​,​00. Дієта дуже важлива і впливає на контроль цукру в крові! Також діти не можуть потрапити до школи та продовжити навчання​,​ бо не мають постійного житла в Регенсбурзі. Діти мріють про школу та нових друзів! Ми просто хочемо ЖИТИ ​,​ ПРАЦЮВАТИ​,​ НАВЧАТИСЯ !!!!! ДОПОМОЖІТЬ​,​ БУДЬ ЛАСКА!
