Looking for a temporary home and work in the UK

We are a married couple​,​ me – 1971 and my wife - 1973 year of birth. We are Odesa residents​,​ enterprising​,​ active​,​ and cheerful people​,​ in a word​,​ southerners. Despite all the horrors and hardships of the war we decided to stay in our hometown of Odesa until the last moment. Since the war in Ukraine is taking on a protracted character (could last a year or longer) and the economy has come to a complete standstill​,​ we believe that the moment of our departure has arrived. We can leave as soon as possible​,​ once we are issued visas under the Homes for Ukraine Sponsorship Scheme. Before the full scale war in Ukraine we were quite successful entrepreneurs: we organized internships abroad and helped young Ukrainians to enter foreign universities​,​ and there was also a small business in the sphere of short-term rental of apartments. We would prefer to work in the hotel or restaurant business and are willing to do various jobs and assignments. In a sense​,​ we miss physical work and​,​ under the circumstances​,​ we see it as a kind of psychotherapy. We speak English at an intermediate level and​,​ once in the language environment​,​ we will be able to progress quickly; we are well-versed in the Windows operating system and are able to work with its office applications​,​ as well as some graphic programs. Also we are familiar with the basics of web design. In our spare time we like hiking​,​ playing chess​,​ growing indoor plants​,​ cooking and​,​ of course​,​ we are passionate football fans.
