Donations for support Ukrainian refugees

On March 18​,​ God sent us 10 Ukrainian refugees​,​ whom we are hosting in the guest rooms in our Church. Specifically​,​ they are 3 different Christian families. They only had one hour to gather some of their belongings and flee their country. All the families come from Mykolaiv​,​ near Odessa​,​ an area which is being bombarded. They don’t know if their houses have been hit as well. Two of the wives’ husbands have stayed in Ukraine to fight. Each family has got an underage child​,​ aged 5​,​ 8 and 16 respectively. Initially​,​ we responded to their basic needs - clothes​,​ shoes​,​ slippers​,​ personal hygiene items​,​ food and Greek sim cards for their mobile phones. They have already started cooking their food in the kitchen we have at church. The three children have started going to school. We are cooperating with the Medical Association of Drama for their medical care and the completion of their vaccination. We have organized the intensive teaching of the Greek language for the rest of them. The needs are many. We need for food expenses 850​/​month​,​ for electricity 200€​/​month​,​ for Greek lessons 500€​/​month​,​ for medical expenses 100€​/​month and for some other needs 200€​/​month. So​,​ if anyone can deposit some money to the following bank account stating their name with the indication “For the refugees”. We would also like to be informed through e-mail (eekdramas@gmail.com) right after your deposit so that we can issue a receipt. On our part​,​ we are committed to use every euro we receive exclusively for the needs of the refugees. That has always been our Church’s policy whenever we receive a donation for a specific ministry​,​ such as our Support Centre​,​ for example.
