My name is Dennis, I’m 20 year old student from Kharkiv. Firstly, I’m not gonna try to affect you with some made-up horror stories about my demolished hometown. Actually, it is possible to live in my city, but it’s rather survival, than life. There is no electricity, no water supply, no job, etc. That’s why I left. I think that you either fight as a soldier, or live a life. Suffering as an unemployed civilian makes you no hero. I want not just to hide in Europe, but to establish a proper livelihood and get a decent job, considering that any job is decent. I’m not one of those, who come here to dwell on handouts. I’m sick of image of Ukrainians as freeloaders.
