Hello! I will introduce you to my situation. We are a family from the east of Ukraine from the Donetsk region. There are four of us in the family: Nikita (25 years old) Yuliia (25 years old) Makar (9 months) and a dog named Tesla (Labrador​​,​​ 4 years old). We have been very close to war since 2014: our city was under occupation for about 4 months back then​​,​​ but was later liberated. We lived a calm​​,​​ peaceful life​​,​​ worked​​,​​ built a house​​,​​ but in 2022 war came to our country. Now my hometown is 15 miles from the front line. Our son was born outside of his homeland. We want a better future for him and are asking for help in coming to the USA. We used the U4U program for this. We already have documents to travel to the USA. We plan to arrive in mid-January​,​ but we have a serious problem with housing for the first time. I know how difficult it is to rent housing in Chicago for people who have just arrived. We wanted to ask you​,​ is it possible for you to help us for the first time in the form of housing until we make an SSN and find permanent housing for ourselves? Thank you for your attention!
