Hello! We are reaching out to you with hope and a heartfelt plea for help. Our family consists of a mother (45) and two daughters (19 and 16). Our difficult journey began back in 2014​,​ when we were forced to leave our hometown of Antratsyt and relocate to Kyiv​,​ hoping to find safety and peace. When the full-scale war started in 2022​,​ we consciously decided to stay home and refused to leave Ukraine until the very last moment. But now​,​ in 2026​,​ that breaking point has truly come. The situation has become dire: missiles and Shahed drones fly directly overhead every single day​,​ and the shelling never stops​,​ day or night. Due to the constant danger​,​ even stepping outside has become unsafe. Remaining here is a daily risk to my daughters' lives. We are specifically searching for sponsors in West Sussex​,​ as my sister and nephew already live here​,​ and being close to family during this challenging time means everything to us. We hope to find kind-hearted and empathetic sponsors who can provide our family with a temporary home under the Homes for Ukraine scheme. Key details about our situation: Accommodation: We would be extremely grateful for 1 or 2 rooms (we are very flexible and space-efficient). Visas: We currently do not have visas yet and will need to apply for the Homes for Ukraine program together with a sponsor from scratch (our international passports are ready).
