Hello, I'm Svitlana L.
My name is Svitlana, and I am addressing you on behalf of our family — me, my husband, and our two wonderful children: a 12-year-old daughter and a 4-year-old son. We are writing in the hope of your help and understanding in our desire to leave Ukraine for the UK due to the very dangerous situation caused by the war. Now there is no safe place in Ukraine, especially for our children. The war has been going on for over two years now, and the daily threat of rocket fire, explosions and constant fear for our lives makes our lives unbearable. We want to give our children the opportunity to grow up in a safe environment where they can get an education and develop without the horrors of war. A daughter should already dream about her future, and not be afraid of the sounds of sirens. Our little son needs stability and protection so that his childhood is happy, not clouded by fear and danger. We believe that in Great Britain our family will find not only safety, but also support during the period of adaptation to new conditions. We aspire to start a new life where our children will have the opportunity to grow, develop and receive a quality education, free from the fear of war. We would be very grateful for the opportunity to move to the UK and hope for your understanding and support in this difficult situation for us.
