From here it's about 10 km to the center of Erlangen. It is a very bicycle friendly environment. Altogether I have 3 (kids-)rooms (2x 14 sqm and 1x 11 sqm) to share for 1 or 2 ukrainian families for private use in a one family home. All other rooms (kitchen​,​ livingroom​,​ bathroom​,​ WC​,​ garden) are shared. We will​,​ more or less​,​ live like a 3-generation patchwork family. I "will be" the long lost and quite unknown "grandfather​/​granduncle​/​grandcousin​/​whatever". You can believe me​,​ I'm a little bit afraid​/​scared too about the time to come and how it all will work out. Kids of all ages are very welcome. Cats too. For children going to school​​,​​ there is a school busstop within 400m. A bus stop with more frequent connections is about 1​​,​​8 km away. Shopping​​,​​ pharmacy and doctors are in a range of 3 to 4 km. Internet access: 100MBit download​,​ 40 MBit upload​,​ WiFi There is a broad support from german volunteers to help you with registration​​,​​ vaccination​​,​​ legal stuff and all other kind of problems that might arise. To make you feel comfortabe faster​​,​​ there is a Whatsapp group of ukrainians living here in the neighbourhood. I can provide an invitation link to any interested party. The rooms are available as long as everybody feels comfortable with the situation. sorry: - no smokers and no dogs - being a little older I ask everyone aged 5+ to be COVID-19-vaccinated (at least having their first dose).
