Hi​,​ I am Olga. I am lucky to be born in sunny Odessa​,​ Ukraine. I lived there ever since with my parents and a little family of my own: myself​,​ my son Andrei​,​ my daughter Kseniya​,​ both - 17​,​ and our cat - Napoleon. We had an ordinary and happy life till February 24​,​ 2022​,​ which suddenly changed dramatically. The War started! It didn't take me long to come up with the decision to leave my beloved city and my sweet home. I had no choice but to save my family. When you hear the outdoor warning sirens 24​/​7​,​ and watch rockets flying above your head​,​ the safety and well-being of your kids come first. My daughter has been suffering from cerebral palsy since birth​,​ and she is in need of special assistance daily. That's become no longer available for her. No need to describe how the exposure to violence and stress has influenced her physical and mental health. Thank God my son​,​ my main helper​,​ during that difficult journey​,​ is doing well! Last Monday we received our Canadian visas through the CUAET program and are ready to move forward. We can leave our temporary shelter in Bulgaria immediately. Unfortunately​,​ we can't do it on our own​,​ my little family is asking for help! I would be grateful for the recommendation on the area in Canada​,​ where I will be able to get assistance for my daughter. Any possible aid or advice in finding free temporary housing is priceless for us. We all are ready and willing to work hard; ANY offered job would be accepted and appreciated greatly. Both my children are educated and speak good English. My own English level is intermediate. I am a licensed and experienced dentist and orthodontist. Thank you very very much in advance!
