Dear people​,​ Firstly​,​ I would like to thank you for all your help and support in this difficult time for Ukraine and Ukrainians. We are very grateful for your kindness and compassion. Let me introduce myself. My name is Elena​,​ I'm 39 years old​,​ I'm from Ukraine. My family and I lived in the city of Nikopol​,​ on the banks of the Kakhovka reservoir. Now only this reservoir separates our city from the terrorists who seized the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and from this plant Russian invaders have been continuously destroying our homes and our lives since July 2022. A little about my family: My husband Arthur is intelligent and responsible person​,​ he worked as a power engineer at an industrial enterprise. He can fix electrics​,​ plumbing​,​ operate various kinds of power tools. Our daughter Varvara​,​ 4 years of age​,​ she is a little sunshine – active​,​ inquisitive and very sweet girl. She loves to make up stories and laugh out loud. Maxim​,​ who is 13 is my husband's nephew​,​ he has no parents​,​ and he is officially under our care. He is interested in football. Both our kids are loving​,​ caring and well behaved. We are hoping to find safe place for our children in Canada and ask for help with temporary housing for the period of paperwork and job search. We would be able to get to Canada in March 2023.
