We are a family of 3 (my child 3 y.o.​,​ my mom 57 y.o. and I 35 y.o.) from Ukraine moving to West Kootenays (Castlegar or Nelson)​,​ B.C. as soon as possible - after 26th December 2022 or the beginning of January 2023 due to the war in Ukraine. We love our country​,​ settled here​,​ had jobs and lived our peaceful life. But our peace was destroyed in February 2022​,​ and we have been struggling with unemployment​,​ constant blackouts​,​ and losses till now. My parents even organized a centre of volunteers to help our soldiers. Unfortunately​,​ my husband can’t go with us because he is serving in territorial defence and cannot leave Ukraine. Our family made a decision to immigrate to Canada and start a new life in your community. 🏡Is there anyone who could host us for a few months in Castlegar or Nelson​,​ B.C.​,​ Canada? I will thank God for this opportunity every day! I will be able to pay for the dwelling as soon as I find a job and start a new life in Canada​,​ which is one of my primary goals.
