Single Bloke Looking For A Sponsor In The UK
About this listing
Hello everyone, My name is Oleksandr, I’m 25 and I hail from Kherson, Ukraine—a city that’s sadly become all too familiar on the news lately. The war has turned life upside down for so many of us. Like countless others, I’ve had to leave behind my home, my routine, and pretty much everything I knew. It’s been a rough ride—watching the place I grew up in get torn apart isn’t something I’d wish on anyone. But I’m doing my best to stay positive and keep moving forward. That’s why I’m here, reaching out to this wonderful community in hopes of finding a kind sponsor through the Homes for Ukraine program to help me start anew in the UK. So, a little about me: I’m a freelancer by trade, mostly dabbling in whatever projects come my way. Recently, I’ve been getting stuck into social media marketing—it’s a bit of a learning curve, but I’m enjoying it. I’ve also done some voice acting gigs, worked as a video game tester, and love producing music and crafting beats in my spare time. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me with my nose in a book—lately something about psychology or marketing—or snapping photos, as photography’s a big passion of mine. I’m a responsible and tidy person, shaped by three years living in Japan, where I learned to be maximally responsible and respectful. I’d make a considerate guest. My English is decent, so chatting won’t be an issue. I also have no bad habits. I’m determined to find work as soon as I arrive in the UK and get myself settled into my own place eventually—I’m not here to overstay my welcome. If my sponsor ever needs a hand with anything, I’m more than happy to pitch in. Oh, and I’m a massive animal lover—if you’ve got a dog, cat, or even a hamster, I’ll be over the moon to meet them. At the moment, I’m in Germany, looking after my grandmother who lives here on her own. She’s a tough lady, but family means the world to me, so I’m keeping her company for now. That said, I’m ready to take the next step and build a fresh start in the UK. The war’s taken a lot, but it hasn’t taken my drive to make something of myself. I’m not after charity, just a helping hand to get back on my feet. If you’re thinking about sponsoring someone and reckon I might be a good match, I’d be beyond grateful for the chance to connect. I promise to bring some positivity and make this a rewarding experience for both of us. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this—I know it’s a bit of a novel! I’d love to hear from you if you’re interested. Best wishes, Oleksandr
