Hello We are a family of four two daughter 18 and 22 with the youngest at university and the 22 year old living at home with us. I am a 55 year old psychotherapist and my husband is 56 working in finance. We have a two cats and a cockerpoo dog. We live in Hersham which is in Surrey and a 25​/​30 minute train journey from Waterloo station central London and we are about a ten minute walk to the station and the local shops. We are close to all amenities but also in a quite and gentle area​,​ which is safe and low crime. In the past we have had Au Pairs who live with us and tend to have use a bike to get around the local area​,​ so if you don’t drive you would still be able to get around and into central London easily. The area we live in has a big eastern European community and we also have a Polish lady who works for us​,​ who would be happy to help you settle into the area and link with people in the local community. She has a house in Poland and rents to two Ukrainian families. We love watching relaxing​,​ in the evening and watching television after eating and cooking together. We can offer for you to live with us as part of our family or we have a separate room where you can sit and read or watch television or study​,​ which is private but close to the family. We also would offer you a double bedroom which would be separate from the living room but with a shared bathroom​,​ in the main home with the family. We go away on holiday so you may be on your own at times. We would support you and help you to find a job or education and have the finances to support sort out work or government support. We can offer six months for you to stay with us. We love the theatre​,​ socialising​,​ but also staying home​,​ eating and watching television​,​ but most of all for my husband basketball. If you play basketball you can join our local club who have many Eastern European people. We can accept someone who will be able to get a visa. The UK government are streamlining the application and it is due to be released I think onto the government website this week. Once you have filled it in you will be able to travel to the UK. Everyone in the family​,​ except my youngest daughter​,​ has a DBS (Disclosure and Baring) which flags up any previous criminal activity or unsuitable behaviour​,​ which we need for our work.
