Hello! We are family from Ukraine. Husband Oleksandr (53 years old)​,​ wife Oleksandra (40 years old) and son Nikita (14 years old). When Russia invaded Ukraine Oleksandr willingly stood up to defend our country. For a long time he was in a combat zone​,​ but was seriously injured. After a long period of a treatment​,​ he continued his military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and received a disability. He defended his homeland for almost 3 years​,​ but now he had the opportunity to be released from military service. Unfortunately​,​ our country is currently not adapted to a large number of people with disabilities and it will be difficult for him to find a decent job. But Oleksandr really wants to work and grow professionally. Before the war he worked as a plumber and electrician. His wife Oleksandra is an artist​,​ designer. Our son Nikita loves to play guitar and has many other hobbies. Nikita knows English very well. Our city is located 150km from the border with Russia​,​ air raid alerts happen many times a day​,​ every night enemy drones fly above the city. We are very tired of this​,​ our son doesn’t sleep well at night because of this. We just want peace and safety for our child. We do not smoke​,​ nor do we drink alcohol.
