Hello! My name is Kateryna and my friend’s name is Hranush. We are from Ukraine​,​ from Berdyansk and Kharkiv namely​,​ we’re 27 and 23 y.o. accordingly. The current events made us find a safe and stable place for living. Everything turned upside down at one moment. We have been thinking over all "pros" and "cons" for a long time and have made a decision to move to Canada in the end. The city that occupied our minds is Calgary​,​ so we will be there at the beginning of September (15.09). Unfortunately​,​ we don’t have any relatives and acquaintances in Canada so we don’t have anybody to help us. Taking into account the situation we are looking for a place to live in. We consider all the possible variants. We know the situation with renting accommodation for newcomers so we’ll be very thankful if there is a family which can host us for some time and help us with accommodation​,​ socialization and adaptation in Canada. My level of English is above the average but I’m taking active steps in getting Upper Intermediate. Hranush’s level of English is elementary. Every day we work hard on our speaking skills. We are responsible​,​ hardworking​,​ outgoing and purposeful. We are not going to sit on our hands. We are going to create out future actively from the first day. We don’t have bad habits​,​ no pets​,​ and we are completely jabbed against Covid-19. I work as a makeup artist. Hranush is a professional seamstress with great experience. We hope to find professional jobs and continue our professional way. We will be very grateful to everybody for help and concern.
