Hello​,​ I'm Veronika from Cherkasy​,​ and I'm looking for a sponsor who may consider supporting my initial journey in the UK In the past two years​,​ I unfortunately experienced two wars – in Ukraine and Israel. After the conflict began in Ukraine​,​ I sought asylum in Israel. The war in Ukraine deeply affected me​,​ since my family faced direct consequences. My father was wounded on the frontline​,​ undergoing over 20 surgeries and spending nearly half a year in the hospital. While supporting my family during this challenging time​,​ I was trying to get used to Israel​,​ where I learned local language and adjusted there. I was also getting out from emotional trauma working with therapists​,​ and even studied embodied coaching​,​ and stared helping others. I tried to build my life from scratch​,​ I succeeded​,​ but it seems I cannot build it there now. Currently I don't know which country is safer for me​,​ I spent last month in Ukraine and left right before the massive attack on 29.12 Throughout the wars​,​ my empathetic nature led me to support individuals affected by the war. Therefore​,​ in a long term perspective I am looking for the job of councillor in the UK or project manager in social projects​,​ since my fluent English and Ukrainian can help to connect with different groups needing help. I have volunteered in Malta for a year after the covid​,​ working with kids facing challenges. Mindfulness has been a daily practice for eight years​,​ and I learned how to bring it to the daily life. And I am 26 years old Worth mentioning​,​ I cannot stand conflicts. On the personal levels as well as governmental ones. Therefore you may grasp how difficult it is for me to live between the 2 wars. I always knew I can handle everything on my own​,​ and it is challenging for me to write for support here. I am looking for my people and for safety.
